Inspiration from Multiple Challenges

I have been a little stuck lately on the challenges.   I missed a few challenge deadlines, which I have have been working really hard to not do so.   Challenges are all about growth for me and if skipping is allowed then I never get out of my comfort zone.  If I take on too many challenges on then it can be overwhelming to complete them and it doesn’t allow me the growth experience I am hoping for.

Here is my latest challenge project.

I was struggling with the prompt of using stickers for one of my challenges.   I have never been a sticker person, and I have more stickers than I will ever use in this lifetime. When I heard this prompt it was an OMG moment for me.   I looked at my stickers and was not sure what I would do. Whenever I look at stickers I think that maybe they all are Goodwill bound.

Another the challenges was trio.  It could be a trio of anything, but it needed to be a threesome.  I drew a blank.

I was working on some ATC’s that are due on Friday and thought maybe I could incorporate these two challenges into my work.   It wasn’t happening.   Unexpectedly I found myself in need of a girl encouragement card.   It was then that everything became very apparent to me how this was all going to pull together.   I had a small girl power sticker set that would be perfect on the card with the trio of circles.   I had some leftover paper with the pink words.  It went perfectly with the piece of plaid paper I was saving for the perfect project some day.  I got my die out and cut my card and used adhesive and put it together.  At that moment, it seemed sort of flat.   I went back to my  sticker drawer and  I found some stickers that were border stickers.   The pink laced punched border was then the answer to my problem. It gave interest because of the dichotomy of the lines from plaid under the circles and curves of the border.    Finally, I dug out the box containing flowers I have collected for years.   I stacked a couple of them with a Nuvo drop in the middle made the perfect card of encouragement.
